Floorlamp Jonisk by Carl Öjerstam for Ikea

Floor lamp designed by the swedish designer carl öjerstam for ikea. In the meantime this lamp became a real vintage design classic and has not been in production for years. Made of hard polypropylene and weighted at the bottom with an extra weight. The round bottom / base is in aluminum which allows the lamp to swing. You can also use this lamp to sit on (up to max 150 kg). This item is in very good condition. Only some light traces of usage at the bottom of the alu base. Carl öjerstam was born in 1971 and graduated in stockholm as an industrial designer from the konstfack school of art & design in 1997. Ever since carl has been teaching design and working as a freelance designer. For several of his designs he received the internation red dot design award. Specs: Ø: +/-38 cm. H: 3 cm.
