Antique woven rustic metal fireplace basket, Netherlands ca 1900

This fireplace basket started life in france and is originally an oyster basket. As one can see it now fantastic rustic addition for storing small logs or other equipment. Th patina is perfect and rusty, the basket is lopsided and there are some loose wires but this does not affect the overall look and feel or sturdiness.
