Vintage Curved Wood Stool, Baumann, Circa 1950s/1960s

Vintage stool "Model No. 92" by Baumann (France), dating from the 1950s/1960s. It is made of beech and features a beautiful bent wood design (see photos). The overall condition is good and original; it shows marks, signs of age, areas of discolouration, and normal signs of use for its age, as well as a patina from time on the structure and seat (see photos). There is a previous mark of use on one side of the stool, at the bent wood under the seat (see photo), as well as another on the edge of the seat (see photo). Please note: the finish of the seat has been renovated; the old varnish has been removed and replaced with an oil and beeswax finish (see photos). The stool is solid and stable. It has simply been gently cleaned, oiled, and waxed, respecting its original patina. A manufacturer's mark is present (see photo). The last photo was taken in full sunlight. All photos were taken in natural outdoor light; colours may therefore vary depending on brightness, reflections from the stone, angles, and perspective from which they are viewed.
