Antique gilded wall console

Antique gilded wall console – Louis XVI style – late 19th century. Elegant wall console in carved and gilded wood, in the Louis XVI style. Late 19th century (original label J. & E. Pérol Meubles Malesherbes). Semi-circular top, richly decorated with fluting, a rosette, and acanthus leaves. Old gilding with a beautiful natural patina. Very decorative in an entrance hall, above a chest of drawers, or as a support for a piece of art. Overall good condition, with some normal wear related to age. Height: 80 cm. Width: 41 cm. Depth: 21 cm.
