Old wooden hat shape, marotte, hat mold, store display, hat holder. A fantastic old wooden hat mold, found in a local garage sale here in southwestern france. Once used by a milliner to shape his hats. The shape is shaped in a solid wooden block. Numbered 55. Rare and very decorative object. In good condition of use: a crack on the front and moth holes (treated) Height: 16 cm - 6.29" Width: 16 cm - 6.29" Depth: 19 cm - 7.48" Weight: 1.4 kg.
