Vintage bedside lamp in ceramic

Very beautiful foot of terracotta lamp enamelled in multiple tones, ranging from ochre to caramel through yellow, with slight green and gray reflections in places. It is a ball, not regular, it has multiple light flat reliefs, a very beautiful craftsmanship. It is equipped with its power cable, a switch and a bronze-colored metal socket for bayonet bulb, which suggests that it dates from the 50s to 70s. It was missing the ring to screw on the socket to hold the lampshade, I replaced it, it is also metal but of a patina slightly different from that of the rest of the socket. Note also two technical strengths: its weight, relatively heavy, makes it stable and the second: its power supply cable is very long, a little more than 2.6 m. A question nags me: how was the socket bracket installed Indeed, the foot has no large hole... Perhaps it was set up at the same time as the ceramic foot shaping I tested it, it works, and the ceramic foot is in very good condition, no crack or shine, no defect to report. The ball is about 14 cm in diameter, the height of the socket lamp included is 18 cm. It is sold without lampshade. It weighs about 1.3 kg.
