Lustre Murano by Ercole Barovier Barovier & Toso made in Italy in the 1940s. Founded in 1295 in Murano, Italy, Barovier & Toso is one of the oldest family businesses in the world. Initially established under the name Barrovier, the company later merged with the Fratelli Toso glassworks of the Toso family in 1936. Specialising in Venetian glass and lighting, Barovier & Toso is synonymous with craftsmanship and quality. Two cups have been made using the "Rostrato" glass technique. Two "Torchon" glass rods form a horseshoe-shaped frame. The lamp is in very good vintage condition. Dimensions: Width: 41 cm / 16.1 inches, Height: 100 cm / 39.4 inches, Depth: 14 cm / 5.5 inches. The lamp requires 2 European E27 bulbs and is compatible with the American E26 socket. It works with standard, LED, or halogen bulbs, 220V for Europe and 110V for the USA. The cable of this item may be original and could require replacement unless stated otherwise.
