Cadiz vase designed by hjördis oldfors for upsala ekeby yellow and black. Very good condition. Sweden 1950, 1960. Height about 14 cm. Hjördis oldfors worked for upsala-ekeby in the years 1952-59 and designed many series and unique objects during his years with the company. Jördis hanna maria oldfors (1920–2014) was a famous swedish ceramist, painter and textile artist. Ms. Oldfors is known for many series she designed at upsala ekeby that have become classics. Oldfors is represented in a number of museums, including the national museum (sweden), the röhsska museum and the nordenfjeldske konstindustrimuseum.
