Combining curved wood with a superb, wide weave weave, the Lehnstuhl low armchair was designed in 2015 by British designer Nigel Coates. Its retro charm has the elegance of late 19th century bentwood furniture. Lehnstuhl takes up the archetypal silhouette of the bistro chair by changing its proportions: lowered and widened, this new version has a strong and contemporary character. The steam-curved beechwood structure draws sinuous lines that delimit the natural straw wickerwork with refinement. The extremely wide seat and the curved backrest provide this low armchair with excellent comfort.
