Antique commode with 3 drawers in Empire/Restoration style, with bronze corded handles.

Beautiful 19th-century commode (Empire / Restoration style) in dark wood veneer. It features three front drawers, each adorned with three elegant bronze handles with a twisted rope motif (concentric rosettes very characteristic of the period). The front posts are fluted, and the tapered feet are finished with metal fittings. Height: 85.5 cm. Width: 97.5 cm. Depth: 51 cm. Overall good condition. The drawers slide properly. There are some missing veneer on the right post (visible side in the photos) – simple and inexpensive restoration possible. Normal wear patina for a piece of this age. An authentic piece full of character, perfect for a vintage, Haussmannian, or chic flea market-style interior.
