Wanted e211 responsible for bad food! Superb large pot / bottle / pharmacy bottle of the 19th century blown glass, thick, blue, closed by a sheet metal lid painted "false marbled wood". Paris porcelain label (with fine gold edges) glued to gum arabic with inscription "benzoate de soude ". Sodium benzoate c7h5nao2 is the sodium salt of benzoic acid, known as e211 as a food additive. Opening diameter 4 cm, base diameter 8.2 cm, height 21.5 cm. The mark of the pontil and the presence of bubbles attest to its age. In perfect condition. Tissier, founded in 1761, was a manufacturer of glassware, crystals and porcelain at 204 faubourg saint Denis Paris. Medals at the paris world's fairs in 1878 and 1889.
