Set of six very rare dining chairs, designed by Niels O. Møller and manufactured by J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik in Denmark. The model 78, designed in 1962, is a perfect example of organic Danish Modern. The chairs are made of solid teak, whose warm hue and lively grain highlight the clear and organic lines. The streamlined, turned, and sculpted structure conforms to the shape of the body: the open and gently curved backrest adapts to the back and offers great comfort, while the slender construction gives the chair remarkable stability despite its lightness. The seats have been hand-woven with new paper cord, following traditional methods and in accordance with the original model. The teak has been carefully restored, all joints checked and re-glued. The chairs are stable, comfortable, and ready for use. Under the seat is the original branded stamp of J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik. Condition: magnificent vintage condition – professionally restored, with new paper cord weaving and only minimal signs of use due to age. A timeless set from the history of Danish design. Dimensions: approximately 48 × 52 × 80 × 44 cm (width × depth × height × seat height)
