A rare and iconic piece of Italian design from the 1960s, this superb swan signed by Mauro Manetti (M.M.) was made in Florence. Crafted from heavy silver-plated metal, it features remarkable texture work on the feathers and a removable inner bowl bearing the Italian inscription “per alimentari, ” indicating a possible use for dry food or ice. Each Manetti piece is unique: the creations of the Florentine artist are sought after for their refinement and timeless elegance. This swan model, marked “Mod.
