French antique small brass crystal & glass single light cage chandelier 3277

Beautiful ornate antique french small cage style chandelier adorned with faceted crystal droplets and swaths of round glass crystal beads. The cage is made up of 4 sides decorated with ornate scrolling acanthus leaves, these are attatched to a decorative plate at the top and bottom. The bulb holder is a patterned glass bobeche which more crystals and the single light hangs in the center. The light hangs from a 3 link chain and ornate ceiling fitting.the light is working with french twin core wiring and takes 1 standard screw in bulb. The frame work is solid with a lovely aged patina it has been cleaned but not polished so you can decide on its overall finish.the crystals are bright and complete with no visible chips or cracks just light nibbles to be expected with age.we recommend that all electrical items are checked by a qualified electrician in your own country to comply with local safety regulations.
