Paul Kingma table from 1979, a coffee table with a top made of slate, brass, and colourful ceramic. The hand-laid mosaic displays a lively interplay of materials in earth tones, with subtle blue and orange accents and an inlay that suggests a fish. Handcrafted in 1979 by the Dutch artist Paul Kingma. The top consists of a carefully composed mosaic of stone and concrete, inlaid with slate, ceramic, pebbles, natural stone, quartz, aluminium, brass, and copper. The inlaid elements show shades of blue, brown, green, orange, black, white, and grey. The piece rests on a sturdy, round base formed by two half circles. The dimensions are 100 × 100 × 32 cm (W×D×H). Marked: Kingma 79. The condition of this coffee table is very good. The top shows light wear consistent with age and use, no damage.
