Set of 4 Merano armchairs, Alex Gufler, 2010s, Czech Republic

This set of four Merano armchairs was designed by Alex Gufler for TON. The model represents a contemporary design, combining traditional bent wood techniques with a modern minimal shape. The chairs feature a curved solid wood structure with a plywood shell forming the backrest and armrests. The seats and backs are upholstered, providing a contrast to the wooden frame. The four pieces are in very good condition with slight signs of use. The construction is stable and reflects the high-quality craftsmanship typical of TON production.
