Thermolite parabolic lamp 1959

We have revisited this old Super Thermolite heat lamp from the 1950s, transforming it into a delightful retro industrial-style accent lamp. Originally designed to emit heat, it now illuminates in a different way: with much more style... And significantly less energy consumption. This iconic model, awarded the gold medal at the Brussels World Expo in 1958, retains all the strength of its original design: a large chrome reflector, a taut line, and an almost futuristic technical silhouette. The repurposing gives it an astonishing presence. Blending vintage workshop, loft spirit, and collectible object, this old heat lamp becomes a sculptural piece in its own right. The pastel colours further enhance its unique charm, straddling the line between industrial design and the pop aesthetic of the 1950s.
