According to charles cressent: important cabinet minister regency exceptional, at the time intended for the cabinets of rich aristocrats of the early eighteenth century. This cabinetmaking furniture is a masterpiece of parisian realization of the late nineteenth century. It is dressed in a sumptuous wood of violet, amaranth, satin and enhanced with beautiful bronzes chiseled and gilded. A leather covers the sinuous tray surrounded by an ingot and leafy spandrels. The sinuous belt opens to three drawers each framed with bronze chopsticks with falling handles. The middle drawer, narrower and recessed, is highlighted by whiskers. Falls of espagnolettes adorn the pinching of the upper legs. Abundantly arched feet ending in claw slippers. Circa 1880 era. Dimensions: h78x178x105.
