Chinese coffee table made of solid elm, dated around 1900, designed as a functional piece of traditional domestic furniture. Its low proportions, the sturdiness of its structure, and the visual strength of its top give it a sober and authentic presence. The construction features visible traditional joinery, with structural crosspieces and straight legs of robust section, typical of utilitarian carpentry designed to last.
