Numbered 108 C and signed RR for Roberto Rigon, an Italian designer/ceramist who worked with Bertoncello Ceramiche, a company based in Schiavon, Italy. This Italian modernist ceramic from the 1960s–70s is made using Bertoncello's characteristic technique: organic modeling with asymmetrical lines, a "screziato" glaze (a textured and nuanced brown-beige glaze, the workshop's signature), and a striking contrast with the sculptural, bright orange glazed handle and flared neck. A very expressive and decorative form. Very good condition. Height: 13 cm. Width: 13 cm.
