Metal and copper candleholder pendant by Carl Thore, 1975

A rare 1970s copper and metal pendant candlestick holder by Carl Thore (Sigurd Lindkvist), celebrated for his modern Scandinavian lighting and design. This striking piece combines a minimalist black metal framework with four copper candle cups, designed for tealights, suspended by refined black metal chains. The interplay of dark metal and warm copper creates a sophisticated balance of materials, embodying the clean elegance and understated refinement characteristic of Scandinavian modern design. Measuring 76 cm in height and 33 cm in diameter, it is presented in very good vintage condition, with only minor surface marks to the copper and some wax residue consistent with age and use.
