Suite of four Danish chairs "Trinidad" by Nanna Ditzel for Fredericia Stolefabrik in teak

Beautiful set of four "Trinidad" models designed by Danish designer Nanna Ditzel for Fredericia Stolefabrik editions. It is a rare variant in teak, it is no longer in production. The chairs are in good use, there are normal traces of use. Some floor caps are worn out. Nanna Ditzel, a female icon of modernist Scandinavian design, is known for her innovative approach to materials and creative techniques. The "Trinidad" chair is an example. Seated and backed in teak with grooves carved and milled in wood, creating a play of light and transparency. This manufacturing technique was absolutely new.
