Berber carpet mrirt, 215x150 cm

Inspired by the oasis of dakhla (morocco), located between desert and atlantic ocean. This carpet mixes two traditional weaving techniques, with a flat weaving base that is similar to that of kilim and white wool knots in reference to the incredible white dune erected in the middle of the city's lagoon. A creation that explores and brings back to the taste of the day a traditional craftsmanship while highlighting the berber tradition and its contribution to modern art deco.
