This artist born and died in Bordeaux was also a student of the Fine Arts of the same city. After being a pupil of the landscape designer Louis-Alexandre Cabié, he became a member of the Salon des artistes français in 1905. He was awarded the Gold Medal at the International Exhibitions in Toulon and Clermont-Ferrand. Bordeaux remained his favourite source of inspiration. He is notably the author of the fresco adorning the lounge of the Hotel Frugès and the paintings adorning the meeting room of the Bordeaux Maritime Exchange.
