Sublime stoneware vase from Bouffioulx signed by Carlos Delsaux, Belgium, circa 1925-1935. Its cylindrical shape is enhanced by a remarkable textured flame glaze in shades of black, brown, and rust, typical of Bouffioulx productions. Carlos Delsaux (1896-1970) is one of the great names in Belgian art stoneware. His creations, produced in small series, are now sought after for the quality of their glazes and their timeless elegance. Signed underneath the base.
