Art Deco game table pedestal table

This very pretty game table has typical art deco lines. Its central leg which makes it a pedestal table is on the one hand very aesthetic with its beautiful vertical moldings and also very practical because the pedestal table can more easily find its place in a room, be moved if necessary to the center of the room and its pretty metal protections on the legs will protect it from wear even in the event of a poker game with stressed players; ). It is made of wood (walnut perhaps?) with green felt on top, it probably dates from the 1920s to 1940s. The top measures 60 cm by 60 cm and the height of the pedestal table is 72.5 cm. It is in good general condition, solid, stable, usable as is but obviously it does not hide its age and the patina that goes with it: various small marks on the wood and metal, a few woodworm holes located on the foot which seem old and not active but which I have nevertheless treated for the sake of conscience by injecting white vinegar into each hole, it is my natural method to replace chemical insecticides. The felt shows wear, small gaps on the sides, a few marks but does not come off, does not fluff excessively and therefore remains completely functional. Under the feet, a few nails which probably fixed cork protections at one time: I preferred to leave them and add thick felt pads on top so as not to risk scratching the floor.
