1950s side or dining table

I'm smitten with this veneered wood table with a metal base. Its small size makes it perfect as a side table or for a small apartment. While it's not signed by Pierre Guariche, Arp, or Alain Richard, it has all the hallmarks of a great piece. Pure mid-century style! The tabletop shows signs of wear (minor veneer loss, veneer added mainly to the edge). The metal base has a slight rust (beautiful patina).
