Vintage Mid-Century Dutch Industrial Design Desk by Wim Rietveld and Friso Kramer for Ahrend De Cirkel. Made in the Netherlands, late 1950s or early 1960s. A rare and hard-to-find desk design, likely used in a school, as indicated by signs on the underside of the desktop. It features a metal-constructed base with a fold-out formica top and does not include a drawer. Its design draws inspiration from Jean Prouvé. The desk is in good original condition with visible signs of age and use. The red band surrounding the tabletop has discolored to pink and shows minor defects. Dimensions: 78 cm X 120 cm X 62 cm (90 cm when folded open). Please note: Items made of rosewood are subject to a special export process that may extend the delivery time by 2 to 4 weeks.
