Vintage industrial design chair – Schreiber & Co. – 1970s

Vintage chair with an industrial design, stamped Schreiber & Co., probably dating from the 1970s. Chair in a modernist style inspired by the Bauhaus movement, featuring a structure made of chrome-plated steel tubes and padded seat/backrest in grey faux leather, with springs present in the seat. Protective pads on the floor placed at the ends of the legs, with original marking “Schreiber & Co.” underneath. Presence of a lateral metal tube, probably intended for a linking system or accessory (shelf, row fixing, etc.). This chair is in good condition, with very little wear, and the seat is firm. Sober and functional design, typical of office or communal furniture of the time, this chair can accompany a desk or serve as retro 70s decor. Height 76 cm. Width 46 cm. Depth 42 cm.
