This ancient cylindrical pot, with its rolled and flared lip at the opening, embodies a beauty born from the alliance of earth, fire, and the artisan's hand. An ancient witness to traditional craftsmanship, it offers, with its non-uniform salt glaze, a myriad of shades, from ash grey to ochre beige, that vibrate according to the lighting, making every centimetre an abstract and mineral rendering. Perfect as a vase for wildflower bouquets, a utensil holder, or simply as a piece of art on a shelf, we have no doubt about its ability to adapt to a farmhouse or chic country style decor. The engraved stripes under the base remain a mystery that we have not been able to unravel. It is in very good condition for its age, which must be approaching a hundred years. Height: 28 cm. Diameter: 16 cm. Weight: 2.1 kg.
