Set of 6 Lübke chairs, rosewood and black faux leather, 1960s

A superb set of mid-century dining chairs, made in Germany. The simple, elegant design is every bit as good as that of Danish manufacturers, as is the use of high-quality materials. A particular highlight is the dark grain of the frames. These are made from solid rosewood, have been sanded and finished with a glossy varnish. The upholstery has been completely refurbished: straps, new foam and a cover made from durable faux leather. Seat height: approx. 46cm.
