C.M. Madsen set of six 'W2' teak and leather dining chairs by Hans J. Wegner

Iconic set of dining chairs designed by legendary designer hans j. Wegner for c.m. Madsen of denmark in the 1950s. These chairs are made from solid teak and have their original black leather upholstery. The set is in very good condition. The wood is excellent and only shows minimal signs of use appropriate to age. The leather is quite patinated, this shows through marks, scuffs, surface scratches and some superficial cracking of the leather. These signs of use take nothing away from its function.
