Safari chair or Saw chair

Low safari armchair by Ole Gjerlov Knudsen created in 1960 for the Cado company. This is a tan leather reissue from the Danish company skovshoved møbelfabrik in cognac color. Almost new condition, hardly used. The original name saw chair comes from the poorly held by a rope which recalls the foresters' saw. The chair can be completely disassembled without any screws. Originally created for outdoor use: camping, fishing, waterside, the covering was then in cotton and linen. Great Scandinavian, country interior style effect and optimum comfort close to the ground.
