Antique Cut Crystal Carafe Sterling Madeira 1973

We are delighted to offer for sale a stunning cut crystal decanter with a sterling silver hanging label from Maderia. An aesthetic and decorative piece, the hanging collar is clearly hallmarked with the side lion for sterling silver 925, the panther's head for London manufacture, the letter 's' for 1973, and the manufacturer's mark R & K for Richards & Knight Silversmith. The condition is good, second-hand and vintage; there may be small, barely visible imperfections, and the antique glass always shows signs of age and use, but to my eye, it appears to be in perfect condition. Dimensions: Height 29cm, Width 13.5cm, Depth 13.5cm. Please note that original vintage pieces like leather always have a natural patina in the form of cracks, creases, and wear. We recommend regular polishing to prevent moisture loss, and hand-dyed leather should not be exposed directly to sunlight for long periods as it dries out and discolours.
