Belgochrom coffee table, Belgium 1970s

Square coffee table in 23 carat gold metal and 2 glass shelves. The lower casement is made of smoked mirror glass and the upper casement is made of transparent glass. The frame features remarkable chamfered corners. The height of the table is 37 cm, the length and width is 59.5 X 59.5 cm. The lower glass is 13 cm high, the thickness of this glass is 4 mm and this glass rests in the frame and is removable. The upper glass is 9 mm thick and rests on the frame, it is very stable thanks to the small suction cups present on the frame (they are original). The table was produced by belgochrom in belgium in the 1970s. Belgochrom is famous for its quality brass or gold metal products, often in the hollywood regency style.
