The Italian mid-century side table, very reminiscent of Paolo Buffa projects from the same period, was manufactured some time in the 1950s. Buffa was known for creating designs that blend Neoclassical style with Art Deco motifs and modernist principles, which is clearly evident in this piece. Overall dimensions are H: 58 / D: 56 / W: 33 cm. This side table is renowned for its exquisite shape, vintage brass ornamentation, and opulent inlays. Carved in walnut with walnut veneer and gently rounded side panels, it creates a beautiful frame for the drawer. The rich grain of the wood, especially evident in the square-laid veneer on the drawer front, shows the designer's love for high-quality materials and craftsmanship. The original inset gray-green glass top contrasts beautifully with the rich tones of the wood, adding visual lightness and a more modern look to the piece. The additional clear glass shelf is ideal for placing your phone while charging. This piece of furniture can be successfully used both as a functional decoration next to the sofa in the living room and as a nightstand in the bedroom. Our team has checked the table. It's in great original condition, with signs of use according to its age. Buffa's furniture rarely includes identifying marks, making them difficult to authenticate. Additional dimensions: Internal height of drawers: 8 cm. Height from the ground: 30 cm.
