Vintage Thonet No. 214 chairs, Austria, 1970s set of 2

This set of two Thonet No. 214 chairs was produced in Austria during the 1970s. The original design was created by Michael Thonet in 1859 as Chair No. 14 and later redesigned for Thonet in the 1960s by Paul Stanoβek. The chairs feature the characteristic bentwood construction combined with rattan seats, retaining the elegant and timeless proportions associated with Thonet furniture.
