Art Deco sideboard or bedside table

Art Deco bedside cabinet or confiturier with 1 door and 1 drawer from the 1930s. It is made of solid light oak with a marble top. The interior is lined with white marble in its upper half. The sides of the uprights are fluted, and the legs are turned in the style of Louis XVI furniture. The door features a beautifully carved floral motif that is typically Art Deco. The cabinet maker has created a symmetrical effect with the grain of the oak burl on the front. A very fine piece of cabinetmaking from the Art Deco period. The varnish is original and has flaked in places on the sides.
