Superb Scandinavian extendable table in teak. Signed by Johannes Andersen (Denmark) Manufactured by Samcom in the 1960s. Restored. Stripped and treated with a hard anti-stain base, then waxed in the traditional way. A unique extension that stores under the tabletop and allows for easy seating of 8 guests. 2.42 m when open. The unique extension is a comfort gain compared to two small traditional extensions as the table legs do not obstruct any guests. A counterweight ensures good stability. No colour difference between the table and the extension. Slight signs of normal use due to its age are to be noted. No repairs, re-gluing, or veneer defects.
