Black and white photograph depicting Tsar Nicholas II surrounded by Tsarina Alexandra Fyodorovna and their children, taken in 1907 aboard an imperial ship. The original photograph is the work of photographer Albert Harlingue (1879–1963), an important figure in photojournalism in France. This is a vintage silver print, probably made in the 1950s to 1970s, from the original image, and preserved in the Roger-Viollet iconographic collection. The print, 23 X 18 cm, is produced on baryta paper and presents a beautiful print quality, with good contrast and remarkable sharpness. It is in very good condition, without tears or creases, with only slight handling marks on the edges. On the back is the regulatory stamp of the Roger-Viollet agency (Paris), with the handwritten note: "Tsar Nicholas II and his family", as well as an archiving number (608.333). This type of reprint was intended for documentary or museum distribution, often in an editorial context.
