Pair of bedside lamps in Italian ceramic signed Nazareno Picciotti, made in Deruta, a famous Italian town renowned for its artisanal ceramic tradition. These lamps feature a refined decoration of 5 hand-modeled calla lilies in relief, in delicate shades of ivory, soft green, and golden yellow. The textured base in matte pommelled ceramic adds softness and elegance to the whole, while the pleated lampshades edged with golden trim, original to the piece, enhance their classic Italian charm. A delicate and quality floral work that evokes the decorative craftsmanship of Italy from the 1960s-1970s, in a spirit that is both romantic and Hollywood-esque. CONDITION In good condition. A few minor imperfections related to its age. Notably, the tip of one calla lily appears to have been restored (it is located at the bottom of the lamp, so it is not very visible).
