Superb antique oak counter from a French tobacconist's shop, dating from the early 20th century. This solid oak piece features elegant neoclassical details, including fluted pilasters and paneling, reflecting the refined craftsmanship of French commercial furniture of that era. The counter is divided into two sections—one large and one small—allowing for versatile use or layout. The back is fitted with two drawers (one lockable) and nine open shelves, providing ample storage space. It also includes an additional wooden platform designed to raise the working height or serve as a comfortable standing platform, as was common in traditional French counters.
