Created in 1975 to mark the bicentennial of the American Revolution, the original poster, titled "America: The Third Century, " depicts a conceptual artwork known as the "Texas Mastaba." The "Texas Mastaba" project envisioned the construction of a mastaba made of 500.000 oil drums. A mastaba is a type of monumental tomb from ancient Egypt, rectangular in shape with sloping walls. The artwork features a frame and double-sided glass. Please note that items made of Rosewood are subject to a special export process that may extend delivery times by an additional 2 to 4 weeks. This piece is attributed to the designers Christo and Jeanne-Claude. It has no attribution mark. The work presents wear consistent with age and use.
