Pair of Queen Anne armchairs from the Napoléon III / Louis XV period - original caning in good condition - wood. Early 20th century, bourgeois Parisian craftsmanship. The backrest and seat are fully caned, with the caning in very good condition, taut, without holes. Shell carving on the top of the backrest and on the front rail. X-shaped stretcher, curved legs, and armrests with a cuff. Light honey patina, original varnish. Very sturdy, comfortable with a small cushion. Ideal for a living room, bedroom, or office.
