Beautiful vase designed by Miroslav Klinger for Železnobrodské sklárny (ZBS) from the 1960s. Very good workmanship, a piece of jewellery. The vase is made of alexandrite / neodymium glass. This means that a substance has been added to the glass which absorbs the yellow light. In daylight or normal lighting, the object is lilac / pink, in cold light (e.g. Fluorescent tubes and similar) the object is a violet to light blue colour. 28cm high. 7 X 10cm.
