Voltaire armchair with a reclining backrest offering four distinct positions. The mechanism is simple and fluid thanks to levers under the armrests. Lifting and sliding the armrests reclines the backrest. The frame is made of solid beechwood, upholstered in a floral pattern in green and burgundy on a beige background. The backrest is high and rounded, with fabric studded at the front and back. The seat, front of the backrest, and armrests are padded with dense foam. The wooden legs, with cabriole feet at the front, are stable and sturdy. This beautiful armchair, with its classic shape and comfortable, dense seat, is in very good condition.
