Rattan basket chair, handcrafted. France, circa 1970. Curved rattan structure, enveloping shell-shaped backrest with openwork decoration, stable base. Light and organic lines, typical of rattan furniture from the second half of the 20th century. Height 90 cm; seat height 37 cm; total width 55 cm; seat width 45 cm; seat depth 45 cm. Patina and signs of use consistent with age.
