Hanging grande light cage designer Jocelyn Deris

Beautiful presence for this large laminated metal suspension with an off-center power cable that creates a graphic effect and also allows to adapt to complicated configurations. This original and aerial suspension is reminiscent of a delicate birdcage... However, it does not contain a rare bird but rather a pretty bulb! Designer jocelyn deris has decided to shake up the established suspension codes. While traditionally only the lampshade contributes to the aesthetics of a suspension, light cage transforms the bulb and power cable into decorative elements. Surrounded by red textile, the power cable (l 200 cm) even becomes the major player in this suspension. Located under the cage, its role is not to support the lampshade as is usually the case: it attaches to the ceiling (or wall) in an off-center manner. The lampshade hangs using a discreet steel wire. The steel wire is adjustable in height (l max 250 cm) which allows to position the shade at any height. You can even use light cage in the manner of an applicator, to frame a headboard. Simply position the lampshade very low and attach the red power cable to the wall.
