Mid-century Textured Glass and Nickel Kalmar Discus Chandelier, Austria, 1950s

A minimalist mid-century chandelier Discus from the 1950s. Made by J.T. Kalmar, Vienna, Austria. This beautiful chandelier consists of two large textured glass discs with a melted ice effect (diameter 19 1/2") on a nickel-plated brass structure. The chandelier offers 6 light sources and provides remarkable lighting. In very good condition. The actual total height from top to bottom is 39", with a shortening option available free of charge.
