Tall cylindrical wicker basket, plant pot or waste paper basket.

Here is a lovely finely woven wicker container with a rather surprising tall cylindrical shape. I do not know its original use, but it could for example be used as a plant pot or a vase for a bouquet of dried flowers, as a small paper basket, or to hold a few wooden spoons... The wicker is woven in a chevron pattern with a nice finish at the top and bottom, and the bottom of the basket is reinforced. It is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. It is in very good overall condition, sturdy, with no damaged strands. I have cleaned it carefully, but there remains a small white stain, probably a residue from a paint drip that persists between the strands, which is not very noticeable. It measures 16 cm in height and 13.5 cm in diameter.
